Torami offers the uncommon blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon to obtain a charming and intriguing wine.
The grapes are macerated for twenty days allowing for skin contact, and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then allowed to rest for ten months in barrique. Following this period of ageing in barrique the wine is bottled and kept in the cellar for another six months.
Deep ruby red in color, has a generous bouquet that begins with a hint of blackberry jam, before veering toward the eucalyptus and liquorice. Very well balanced tannins and long finish. Perfect in combination with game, especially wild boar.
